Because of its unique location near the Vatican, as well as the distinct experience that it offers young men preparing for the priesthood, the College often receives requests for interviews from the media. All interviews are arranged around the seminary's schedule, and they are subject to the approval of each seminarian's sponsoring diocese. The seminarians attend class at one of the city's universities, and they are therefore generally unavailable weekday mornings and some afternoons. They may have scheduled formation classes or liturgical events during the evening. Given existing security concerns, media personnel must be met at the entrance at a pre-arranged time in order to be given access to the grounds. Unfortunately, the College is unable to permit visitors without an appointment. As the College is part of Vatican City State territory, all journalists are asked to request accreditation through the Holy See Press Office prior to interviews. Online accreditation forms may be found and submitted at: http://www.vatican.va/news_services/press/accred/index_en.htm Requests and inquiries can be directed to the College's Director of Media Relations:
Rev. David Songy, OFM Cap George Nixon Assistant for Media Relations E-mail:
